From the Independent Hostels UK stand at Keswick Mountain Festival
Kewswick Mountain festival might have had a bit of an abrupt finish this year, when the lakeside site was closed due to high winds. But Staff and hostel owners from the Independent Hostels network had a great time meeting lots of people who love Independent Hostels. Over 500 people took copies of the Independent Hostel Guide home with them and 200 entered the free prize draw for a holiday in one of the Cumbria Independent hostels. Holiday were donated by Kendal Hostel, Elterwater Hostel, Wayfarers Independent Hostel, Ninebanks Hostel and Thorney How, and the winners were Fraser Mackay, Rosie Searle, Sarah Taylor, Kate Simpson and Lisa Waistell.
