Liverpool is proud to be the birthplace of The Beatles, so much so that is has dedicated several attractions to them, one being the ‘Beatles Story’ in the Albert Dock, a fantastic visitor attraction which follows the story of The Beatles and their rise to fame. You could also take a trip to the world famous Cavern Club where The Beatles played over 300 times! Live music is played there all week.
If that doesn’t take your fancy then there are plenty of beautiful cathedrals, museums and galleries to see. Liverpool also has a lot to offer in terms of shopping, as they have a gleaming new city-centre, shopping centres, boutique arcades, bohemian streets and farmers markets.
Our hostel is handily located for all city centre attractions and transport links and we are also a good base for day trips to the historic city of Chester, Chester Zoo, or the beautiful Lake District.
