This is how Wild Wool Barn has HALVED their carbon footprint

Solar Panels on the lower roof of a stone Lake District Bunk Barn

At the Wild Wool Barn in Ennerdale in the Lake District, we are fully sustained by the landscape. If we are not energising our souls with the peaceful escape from the hurly burly of everyday life, we are recharging our batteries with solar power to keep the lights on.

Since June The Wild Wool Barn has halved its carbon footprint by installing:

  • Solar panels
  • An air-source heat pump
  • Wool insulation
  • Battery storage

You can leave your eco-anxiety at the gate and destress in peace and tranquillity secure in the knowledge the footprint from your shoe is the only one leaving an impression on the environment.
