Western Lake District-where else do you get it ALL to yourself?

Walk from the door of the Wild Wool Barn onto unspoilt fells, round the lake or the forest of Wild Ennerdale

Walking in the Lake District National Park doesn’t get better than this. With direct access to the high Western Fells from the door of the Wild Wool Barn, once you’ve parked up you can put away your car keys and let your feet do the exploring. You could start with the 11 tops of the Ennerdale Horseshoe, or take it easy with a 6.5 mile wander around Ennerdale Water. A lakeside walk to one of Ennerdale Bridge’s 2 village pubs or a chikd-friendly trail along the Smithy Beck. Then return to the Wild Wool Barn, put your feet up in front of the log burner, enjoying the exclusive use of the bunkhouse.
