Welcome to the Isles of Scilly’s first Hostel: Longstone Lodge, 28 miles southwest of Land’s End you will find the Isles of Scilly. A popular tourist destination for many years, but until this month has been without the option of hostel accommodation. Not anymore because Longstone Lodge has opened its doors on St. Mary’s and now welcomes guests. There is a range of accommodation options, in bright and spacious rooms, private rooms for singles to a families and 5 and 6 beds share rooms. Most rooms are ensuite. Exclusive hire of the lodge is also available. There is a well equipped communal kitchen with lounge/dining area, large enough to seat the full complement of 25 guests as well as a guest laundry/drying room. The proprietors; Colin, Amy and Suzy, have worked tirelessly to bring a dilapidated property on St. Mary’s back into life, offering both the hostel and adjoining café along with welcoming outside areas and children’s play.
