Wales, a bikers paradise

Wales biking

Rolling hills, sweeping vistas and winding roads. Wales is a delight for two wheeled motorists, here’s a route that cherry picks the best of it.

Do you fancy spotting a UFO on the Great Orme? How about walking in the footsteps of the Men of Harlech? You can do this and more on the latest TomTom Amazing Britain route through north Wales. The 240-mile loop will take you along some of the best roads and most impressive scenery Wales has to offer. The route also includes some of the most scenic roads in the UK, the magnificent Pen-y-Pass, which snakes its way past Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. It can be rode in a day, but if you fancy making a weekend of it, there’s plenty to see and do along the way to keep you occupied.  Of course there’s a good deal of wonderful hostels on the route to choose from. Frrid Bunkhouse, Abersoch Sgubor Unnos, Maentwrong , Bala and Springhill farm to name just a few bunkhouses. All with individual charm, most remote enough to not have to worry about your bike. So whats holding you back?
