Visit the submerged Forest on Borth Beach.   Half-way between high and low water the forest appear intermittently for two to three miles  between Ynys-las and Borth.  Make a stay at Borth Hostel and see if you can find it.  Sometimes its hidden under a layer of sand so you know you are privileged if you get to see it.   On the rare occasions when it is fully exposed you see a flattened expanse of peat containing the remains of pine, alder, oak  and Birch.  The trees are laid down and  the roots spread horizontally.
