Tyddyn Bychan is the perfect base for exploring water sports in Snowdonia

The picture depicts 6 men and women having a fun time navigating trechourous waters while white water rafting.

Tyddyn Bychan is a stunning converted 18th century traditional Welsh farmhouse that sleeps up to 27 people. Located on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, the location is the perfect base to try out water sports in the area such as canoeing, kayaking and white water rafting.

It is a 15 minute drive from Alwen Reservoir and 13 minutes to Llyn Brenig reservoir.

The River Dee and the Tryweryn Whitewater centre Bala are fantastic spots for water sports and, depending on the rainfall, local rivers are the perfect location for kayaking and canoeing too!

Had enough of watersports? Why not spend the day on your bike instead? Tyddyn Bychan is centrally situated for numerous mountain bike trails.

Not to mention, after a hard day of your chosen water sports (or mountain biking!) activitiy, Tyddyn Bychan has a wonderful drying room, showers and lounge.
