“The Jonas Centre provides an inspiring base for a residential stay with a class of any age. Set in beautiful countryside, there are opportunities for designing a wealth of adventurous activities in a safe and peaceful environment. Comfortable cabins, friendly and accommodating staff and excellent kitchen and common room facilities make this an easy and unforgettable experience, for teachers and children alike. We took a mixed Y3/4 class for a three day visit, which included sports, hiking and map-reading, orienteering, campfires and cooking! We had great fun planning our activities and our menus as a class and greatly enjoyed the freedom and flexibility to design our own outdoor curriculum to suit our own needs. Well worth a visit!”
