Take a ferry to Knoydart Bunkhouse or get there on foot through wilderness.

Knoydart is famous for rugged hills and glens, with mountain-bike tracks and a ranger service.

Knoydart Bunkhouse is on the Knoydart peninsula, which is not connected to the mainland by road. You get there by ferry or a long hike. The bunkhouse is run by the Knoydart Foundation which was established in 1997 to work on behalf of the community. There is a Knoydart Ranger Service, which provides information, walks and tours. Knoydart also has a campsite, cycle Hire and events and dances in the village hall. Find out more here.
