Speeding up the M54 on your way to North Wales? Try turning left at Shrewsbury. Shropshire is a hidden gem and although those of us who live here would like to keep it a secret, we know we should share. We have Food Festivals, Music Festivals, Art Festivals and the brilliant Shrewsbury Flower Show in August. Here at the bunkhouse, we have great walking country on the doorstep and some cracking mountain bike trails. Heading for Snowdonia? – stop off with us to wake up those hill walking muscles so you are ready for the mountains.
