Shining Cliff hostel has some availability still left over the summer holidays; a superb place to spend time exploring over 600 acres of ancient woodland with streams, crags and a gin distillery! The hostel has availability between 14th – 17th and 29th-30th August.
Shining Cliff hostel accommodates up to 20 people and can be hired for sole use or individual bookings (Sunday-Thursday only). The hostel is uniquely set off-road in an ancient woodland, Shining Cliff woods in Derbyshire. The hostel is fully equipped for self-catering, has 5 bedrooms all with bunk beds, 3 bathrooms with showers and a stunning outdoor firepit area that nestles up to the Shining Cliff crag that gives the area its name.
The hostel is only accessed by foot along woodland footpaths. If arriving by car, you’ll park at the private woodland car park before transferring your belongings into wheelbarrows to porter them along the half mile woodland footpath to the hostel! If arriving in the local village of Ambergate by train, bicycle or bus we provide a comprehensive set of walking directions to take you through the woodland to the hostel using the public footpaths.
Individual bookings in a private bedroom with shared facilities is £16 per adult and £10 per child/night, sole use in the midweek has a variable hire price dependent upon group size.
The hostel is available on the 14th – 17th August, and 29th- 30th August.
