The renovated 18th century former racehorse stable now serves as dog friendly group accommodation in Northumberland.
For groups with dogs it can often be hard to find suitable accommodation. However Gibside Stables Bunkhouse welcomes up to three dogs to stay in their gorgeous ex stable. Managed by the national trust the building is a sight alone, the oodles of footpaths and woodland are a welcome bonus. It’s also good to know that there are lots of dog friendly pubs in the local area, the micro pub the Railway Tavern in Rowlands Gill is a 15 minute walk from the entrance of Gibside and there are other pubs that serve food that are dog friendly within a short drive from Gibside. All we ask is that dogs are kept on leads within the grounds please.
