Eligible to anyone arriving on foot or bike. These vouchers entitle the holder to a half-price stay at either of the hostels at a later date.  Dolgoch and Tyncornel Hostels are in the wild and stunningly beautiful Cambrian Mountains a day’s walk apart, ideal for an adventure by bike or one foot. 

The Elenydd Wilderness Trust hostels have implemented  Green Vouchers,  given to anyone arriving at the hostels on foot or bike.  These vouchers entitle the holder to a half price stay at either of the hostels at a later date.  Dolgoch and Tyncornel Hostels are in the wild and stunningly beautiful Cambrian Mountains a days walk apart, ideal for an adventure by bike or one foot.   They were converted from Isolated farmhouses in the 1930’s.  Situated near or on old drovers’ roads in wild and stunningly beautiful Cambrian Mountains. These former YHA  simple hostels will take you back in time.  Dolgoch Hostel has no electricity with soft LED lights the only form of lighting and a large wood burner for heating.

Dolgoch is an “off-grid” hostel with a solar-powered hot water system and solar-powered LED lights.  Dolgoch fitted a wood-burning stove and stopped burning coal almost a decade ago.
