Heritage Open Days in Shropshire in September include Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron (September 7th – 8th) offering FREE access to its Coalbrookdale sites hosting walks, talks and craft demonstrations. Shropshire Museums’ Collections Centre in Ludlow lets you look at the collections they have in store – not normally seen by the public. (September 7th)
Not your cup of tea? Try the Ludlow Food Festival, celebrating its 30th delicious year(September 13th – 15th) – 3 days of great food and drink
Bishop Castle has its Michaelmas Fair on September 21st – includes a Lantern procession, lots of stalls, and a vehicle procession
As we tip over in to October, don’t miss Shropshire’s biggest party held in the Quarry in Shrewsbury October 4th and 5th boasting 180 real ales, great street food and some really tasty treats
