Snowgoose Mountain Centre provides activities on the Lakes and Mountains around Fort William and accommodation for independent families, travellers and groups. Accommodation is provided in apartments, the hostel and Smiddy bunkhouse with many rooms having views of Ben Nevis. Others have views of snowcapped hills in winter with snow blowing off the mountain ridges and cherry blossom on the local trees in May. Close to Snowgoose Mountain Centre are glens, forests, mountains and lakes. Steam trains pass by including The Harry Potter train bound for the Glenfinnan Viaduct (or is it Hogwarts). The area has plenty of quiet roads to explore the Highlands by. A short drive and a Gondola ride give access the ski area on the Nevis Range in winter.
