Welcome to Slack House Farm, a haven of respite for cyclists and long-distance walkers tracing the ancient Hadrian’s Wall. This welcoming refuge, nestled on a working organic dairy farm, beckons weary travelers with its unique blend of rustic charm and modern comforts.

As you tread the path of history, Slack House Farm stands as an affordable sanctuary, perfectly attuned to the needs of Hadrian’s Wall walkers. With the capacity to sleep 16 individuals, each room comes with a shower, toilet, hot water, and heated towel rail.  The beds are freshly made up and towels are provided.  The continetal breakfast and dedicated laundry and drying room ensure you’re ready for the next leg of your journey.

A shared common room invites camaraderie among fellow travellers, while the self-catering kitchen allows you to whip up a warm meal or heat up one of our homemade frozen ready made meals. The wood pellet-fired stove warms both body and soul, providing a cosy ambience and gentle under-floor heating throughout the communal space.
