Slack House Farm is a working, organic dairy farm overlooking Birdoswald Roman Fort on Hadrian’s Wall. We pride ourselves on our bunk barn which is adjacent to the Scypen licensed café and farm shop and welcomes dogs.
Our barn sleeps up to 18 and the wood pellet fired stove warms the shared area and provides under-floor heating. Cooked breakfasts, farmhouse suppers and packed lunches can be provided upon request. We provide a warm cosy atmosphere that will leave you wanting to come back. We offer clothes washing and self catering facilities, a drying room, a hostel shop, meals available nearby and in the hostel by arrangement, disabled access, private and dormitory rooms, and we welcome your dogs- and we can guarantee you the best price for your area!
