Something’s going on here all the time and it’s all accessible from All Stretton Bunkhouse
Take a look at our festivals this year. In February there is a month long Darwin Festival in Shrewsbury offering insights in to the life and times of Charles Darwin. April – travel the Shropshire Way on the 80K festival – 50 miles in 24 hours (or you can run it!). May, Ludlow offers their Spring festival – ‘Barrels of beer, full on food, brilliant bands and magnificent motors against the backdrop of Ludlow castle. In June, Shrewsbury rolls out its food festival. July – why not put together a rowing team and take part in the Dragon Boat festival on the River Severn. Or if history is your thing, join the Battle of Shrewsbury Medieval Festival. Love your beer – try Oktoberfest, October 2nd and 3rd.
Shropshire has some great music festivals too. There’s live music at Loopfest early May; June 18th – 21st is the Beardy Folk Festival – live music, street food and a woodland spa at Hopton Court near Cleobury Mortimer in a beautiful walled garden arena and Farmer Phil’s Music Festival takes place near the awesome Stiperstones in August.
Or maybe you just want some peaceful time in the beautiful Shropshire Hills – we can do that for you, so join us in 2026 to make sure you have a truly great New Year
