Over recent years Bron-y-Gader has hosted many Scout groups from far and wide in the UK.
At an elevation of 290m (950ft) in the foothills of Eyri (Snowdonia), with direct access to many paths and tracks leading to the mountains of the Carneddau range, with its seven peaks over 3000 feet, Bron-y-Gader Bunkhouse has an enviable position.
With no near neighbours apart from sheep in the surrounding fields Bron-y-Gader Centre, which sleeps 37, is ideal for groups to enjoy socialising together after a day exploring the Welsh hills and mountains or partaking in any of the numerous activities available in the surrounding area.
All groups have sole use of the bunkhouse which has a fully equipped stainless steel kitchen and a large hall which doubles as a dining & socialising room for large groups and as an activity room. There’s a separate cosy living room with a wood burner and there is also a well equipped drying room. Outside the centre is a large open area for group activities.
