The perfect place for a scout trip- sole use site, self catering, surrounded by 12 acres of private woodland camping lawn, yurt and campfire with tarpaulin. Maximum 30 people staying on site: 16 in the Bunkbarn and the rest on the Meeting House floor (we have camp beds), camping or in the yurt.
In between Coniston and Windermere in the quiet Rusland Valley away from the crowds. Wild swimming at High Dam which you can walk to from the hostel. 2 miles from Grizedale Forest.
