“…quirky, Camino inspired…”
Al the facilities at Eden’s Yard Backpacker’s (St. Austell, Cornwall) open, through stable doors, off a communal central yard. This leads to a friendly, oddball, communal-living vibe.
They describe themselves as ‘quirky and Camino inspired’. Now, I don’t know what ‘camino’ means but judging by the social media reviews (a good solid 5-stars) it means open air living; good hospitality and a laid back atmosphere. They welcome individuals or groups and can provide cooked food on request.
You know what Cornwall has to offer: great countryside, surfing, the Eden Project. This hostel draws a little from all those things and cooks up a cool slice of Cornwall. The Eden Project itself is just over there; St. Austell is close by; the ancient Saints Way pilgrimage trail is near and National Cycle routes 2 and 3 converge close to the gate.
