All Stretton Bunkhouse offers you cheap accommodation in the beautiful Batch Valley while 1.5 miles down the road (or a lovely walk over the hills) the 60th Church Stretton Art Festival will be taking place between July 25th and August 9th 2026. The Festival offers Music and Drama; Arts, Crafts and Photo Exhibition; Free Concerts and Organ Recitals and Workshops and Demonstrations
There really is something for everyone. The Arts, Crafts and Photography Exhibition showcases paintings, prints, photographs, cards, jewellery, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, woodwork and metalwork and is open across the whole of the Festival. Demonstrations include Painting without Brushes and an opportunity to view the work of Malcolm Morris ‘Jewellery Maker to the Stars’. Robin Ince will be there and for the children the Paperback Theatre will be putting on a production of the ‘Railway Children’ at Acton Scott.
Plenty of great places to eat in Church Stretton or you can return to All Stretton Bunkhouse for a bit of peace and quiet!
