Remote farming adventures are waiting for you!

At Ilderton Dod Barns, our self-catering barn conversions on our working hill farm in North Northumberland, you can experience life in a remote part of Northumberland National Park. Right now we’re busy calving, and lambing is about to start. You can’t fail to spot the sheep surrounding the garden of the properties, and we’re happy to have guests take a closer look at what goes on here, or by visiting one of our other farms.

All sorts of guests are drawn to our accommodation – fellow farmers, urban dwellers, walkers, runners, cyclists, riders, astronomers, archaeologists, wildlife spotters. What they all comment on is the peace and quiet, and yet accessibility to the towns of Alnwick and Wooler, and even the Ingram Cafe within walking distance. Some barely have to leave the farm to fill their holiday, and with outdoor seating, barbecues and fire brazier you can appreciate the fresh air without having to travel.

We still have some availability in The Barn for May half-term.
