Puttenham Eco Camping Barn near to village pubs

Puttenham eco camping barn works with the local pub

Removed from the YHA in 2017 and run entirely by volunteers, Puttenham Camping Barn aims to keep prices low and quality high. The accommodation is environmentally-friendly and works in harmony with the surrounding village, where evening meals are available at the village pubs.

Puttenham Barn on the North Downs Way in Surrey is run entirely by volunteers.  Working in partnership with the YHA these volunteers raised £120,000 to establish a barn with the aim of providing low-priced accommodation for walkers and cyclists.

Reluctantly removed from the YHA’s network as part of their camping barn purge in 2017, the barn continues to operate as an independent hostel.  For many years this historic Surrey Barn has continued to provide great holidays for thousands of groups and families.

The accommodation is environmentally-friendly and works in harmony with the surrounding village, where evening meals are available at the village pubs. Support this local charity, and have a holiday in the wonderful Surrey Hills at the same time.
