Hoy Outdoor Centre has just joined the Independent Hostels UK network. Hoy Hostel provides accommodation for climbers, walkers and tourists on this Island, just of the coast of mainland Orkney. Hoy is famous for The Old Man of Hoy an amazing rock stack and a great place to see puffins. The dramatic hills and cliffs around the island offer excellent walking and climbing. Hoy is an RSPB reserve with 3,500ha of upland heath and cliffs with a large variety of wildlife including arctic hares.
