London may have been blighted with a dingy reputation during the Victorian era, but it didn’t stop people coming to visit in their droves. And the Victorians left quite a mark on the city. You can visit the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum, all of which came about as a direct result of the Great Exhibition in 1851.
