spinning courses at Tanrallt Farm

Do you feel you need to learn something new in 2017 ?

Do you feel you need to learn something new in 2017.  Come to Wales and learn how to spin.  Fferm Tanrallt Farm, located on the outskirts of Llangian village one mile from Abersoch, will be running  one or two day spinning courses on their traditional sheep farm. The courses will be using home grown wool and you can meet the  Shetland and Romney Sheep who grew it for you. The wool can be a natural colour or hand dyed on the farm. You can take away the knitting yarn you produce.

Fferm Tanrallt Farm is situated close to the coast and the many beaches of the Llyn Peninsular.  An ideal location for those who would like to mix a walking and spinning holiday.  Or who would like to take some time exploring the local beaches and castles whilst learning about spinning wool.   We can mix and match walking, exploring and spinning days to suit you.   There are also opportunities to see and perhaps learn felting from a local felting artist.

The spinning courses cost £60 per person for a day including all materials, instruction, breakfast and lunch.  Accommodation is available in the home of Sgubor Unos Bunkhouse on the farm for £20 a night.  The bunkhouse has self catering facilities, or you can visit one of the many pubs and restaurants in the nearby harbor town on Abersoch for your evening meals.

The course are limited to four people per day, so will be bespoke to you needs.  Courses will be run monthly throughout the year starting in January.  Please get in touch with  Meinir Roberts on 01758 713527 or email Sgubor Unos Bunkhouse, to chat about your course and available dates.
