Deep in Lael Forest, the bunkhouse is surrounded by wildlife with easy walks to impressive gorges and cascading waterfalls.
Forest view Bunkhouse is deep in Lael Forest, a forest of very old and interesting species including the Giant Redwood. There are a number of walks in the forest, the lower section has an area with many species from around the world and a nice waterfall. The upper section is a more commercial forest but the trails are very nice and open up into areas with panoramic views of the glen and surrounding hills. The forest is sandwiched between a series of impressive gorges and some of the bridges give great views of gorge and cascading waterfalls. A particular favourite and varied walk of mine is shown here.
