We have been using our time in lockdown wisely to improve and upgrade the facilities at The Wild Wool Barn in Ennerdale. Bookings are being taken for those who wish to use the new “loo with a view”.
There is nothing like a 12th of April deadline to get you working hard. The Wild Wool Barn has taken its first bookings for single family groups from then so the race is on to have the building work complete. The renovated toilet and shower block will mean that the hostel will be booked on a permanently exclusive use basis and campers and workshop visitors will have their own separate facilities. We are booking up fast for July and August, but there are plenty of dates left in May and June. We promise to have the grass growing again by then.
