Let’s leave 2020 firmly behind and look forward to some exciting plans in 2021!
As we all know 2020 has been a pretty pants year! But here at Wooler Youth Hostel and Shepherds’ Huts we are really excited for the plans we have for 2021.
More details will follow in the comings weeks, but what we can tell you is that we are busy knocking walls down and erecting new ones in the hostel. (More on that at a later date!)
We are also very excited to be working in partnership with a local water based activity provider, offering some great activities like canoeing, SUP boarding and Coasteering to name a few.
Like in 2020 we will continue to be the base for guided walks and beginner to intermediate navigation training sessions, including National Navigation Award Scheme (Bronze and Silver Level) which incidentally just been given Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework Partnership (SCQF).
With plenty of walking trails in the area, most notably St Cuthbert’s Way in the hills and the Northumberland Coastal Path, the Christmas holidays are the time to start making plans for your 2021 Northumberland adventures.
