Ilderton Dod barns have something for everyone, the Pennine Way being just two miles to the west the beautiful scenery is easily appreciated on bike or on foot. After a long stroll through the stunning Northumberland national park both you and your dog will appreciate the bunkhouse’s log burner. Night time walks are a must as this hostel is situated within one of the darkest regions of the Dark sky national park, perfect for star gazers or astrophotographers alike. Being so far away from any hustle and bustle Ilderton Dod barns is the ideal spot to get away from the pressures of the world and relax. Please note dogs allowed downstairs only – up to 2 in the cottage or 3 in The Barn. Charge is £10/dog/stay. Dogs must be kept on leads immediately outside the properties but there are hundreds of paths and bridleways around and fortunately most pubs around are also dog friendly
