The Campbell Room in Somerset’s Quantock Hills
The Campbell Room provides low-cost self-catering group accommodation in Somerset’s Quantock Hills. Ideal for outdoor activities, training courses and for school trips visits. The centre is centrally heated and open all year. The Campbell Room is in a sheltered rural position at the mouth of an attractive wooded valley leading to the heart of the Quantock Hills. The neighbouring village of Nether Stowey has local shops and pubs. The Coleridge Way long distance footpath starts 1 miles from the accommodation.
Campbell Room is less than 10 minutes walk from Great Wood forest and just 7 miles from the coast. Half an hours drive away is the Somerset Levels, with landscape vastly contrasting with the Quantocks. Here you can discover the mythology of Glastonbury and visit the West Country’s Winter carnival. Traveling west along the North Somerset coast you reach Minehead, Lynton & Lynmouth and Clovelly, all historic tourist resorts packed with character.
