A luxury alternative to traditional hotels in Chepstow.
Browsing through the social media feed of the Green Man Backpackers in Chepstow, two things jump out at me: they really support people walking the Offa’s Dyke path; and they’ve got their own pizza oven in the grounds! This sums up the Green Man to me.
On the one hand, friendly accommodation which is perfect for the outdoors – in this case, right at the start (or end!) of Offa’s Dyke. It’s also ideal for walkers beginning or completing the gorgeous Wye Valley Walk, Wales Coast Path and Gloucester Way.
On the other hand, there are enough comforts and luxuries to make a stay there feel like a treat. Its home is a grade II listed building, with group, en-suite and family rooms which all include a continental breakfast; and a comfortable lounge and bar area.
