Nestled in the heart of Hadrian’s Wall country, the Greenhead Hostel is the ideal base for visitors, walkers and cyclists alike, with a warm welcome being given to all. Across the road from the hostel is Greenhead Hotel where Colette Nicol Cox will be giving an evening of song from 60’s till now on 18th May 2018. Many people passing through are walking Hadrians Wall Long Distance Path. The area is great for those wanting to spend more time around the major Roman attractions such as the Roman Army Museum. Birdoswald, Vindolanda and Housesteads Roman forts are all close by, with the AD122 bus running from Greenhead to all these attractions though out the summer months.
