Lismore, a Hebridean haven

The low lying fertile isle is located 7 miles form Oban in the inner Hebrides. The name Lismore is derived from the Gaelic “Lios Mòr” meaning great garden. The isle has a rich Gaelic tradition which can be seen in the beautiful ruins of Castle Coeffin. The tranquil green expanses of provide an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and the stunning views of the surrounding islands and mainland will take your breath away. You can even see the summit of Ben Nevis on a clear day.

The Bunkhouse has a mix of private rooms and dorms and provides a warm bed, a warm atmosphere and warm floors with under floor heating. The bunkhouse was built with the environment in mind with solar heating, a green roof and much more.
