A uniquely situated off-road woodland hostel on the edge of the Peak District. We’ve got late availability for Easter, which is a beautiful time to be in this stunning ancient woodland, with crags, a lake and streams to explore and play, it’s a magical setting to get away from it all and feel nurtured in this stunning woodland.
The hostel sleeps up to 20 people in 5 bedrooms all with bunk beds, with 3 bathrooms with showers, a very well equipped self-catering kitchen, and open plan lounge and dining area. There is a stunning outdoor meeting circle area that nestles up against the crag, with stone circle seating, perfect for gathering and outdoor picnics.
You can arrive by train or bus and follow our walking directions up through Shining Cliff woodland to the hostel, or you can arrive by car and have the adventure of wheelbarrowing your belongings from the car park to the hostel, following a gorgeous woodland footpath.
