A uniquely situated off-road woodland hostel on the edge of the Peak District. We’ve got late availability for 28th-30th March and 18th-20th April, which is a beautiful time to be in this stunning ancient woodland, with crags, a lake and streams to explore and play, it’s a magical setting to get away from it all and feel nurtured in this stunning woodland.
The hostel sleeps up to 20 people in 5 bedrooms all with bunk beds, with 3 bathrooms with showers, a very well equipped self-catering kitchen, and open plan lounge and dining area. There is a stunning outdoor meeting circle area that nestles up against the crag, with stone circle seating, perfect for gathering and outdoor picnics.
You can arrive by train or bus and follow our walking directions up through Shining Cliff woodland to the hostel, or you can arrive by car and have the adventure of wheelbarrowing your belongings from the car park to the hostel, following a gorgeous woodland footpath.
Our March weekend is available for either sole use or individual bedroom hire at our discounted late availability prices. Sole use prices are £200/night for 13-20 people, £150/night for 7-12 people, £120/night for up to 6 people. Individual bedroom hire is £20/adult/night and £15/child/night.
Our bank holiday April weekend is available for £320/night for sole use, with a minimum 2 night stay.
