Its great news that all 11 Camping Barns in the Lakeland Camping Barn group are now part of the Independent Hostels network. The Lakeland Barn group formed 10 years ago when a group of camping barns in Cumbria broke away from the YHA to form their own marketing and booking service. Lakeland Barns has been a great success and the camping barns are more popular then ever. Independent Hostels have worked with the camping barns over the years and in 2017, for the first time, all eleven camping barns are in the guide. Fell End Camping Barn is one of the camping barns in the Lakeland Camping Barn group. Costing just £10 per person per night throughout the year it offers a unique way of enjoying some of the best scenery in Cumbria. A great alternative to Lake District campsites with the guarantee of a roof over your head if it rains. Fell End Camping Barns is within easy distance of Coniston (6 miles) and the Duddon Valley (5 miles), making it a perfect stop off point while completing the Cumbrian Way.
