Lake District isolated 16 bed sole use bunkbarn with 12 acres ancient woodland

We are offering a last minute isolated retreat place for families or groups without coronovirus symptoms to stay at Rookhow Bunkbarn in the remote Rusland Valley.

We will make sure there is at least 24 hours between bookings and that the place is deep cleaned, fully laundered, with surfaces disinfected and showers and toilets sparkling clean. No need to go off site if you don’t want to, though there are plenty of walks straight from the hostel and you probably won’t meet anyone. At Rookhow you’ll have 12 acres of woodland to yourselves with 2 campfires and plenty of room to explore. Outside tables and benches. Inside woodburner and well-equipped kitchen and 3 sleeping spaces: 2 bed, 6 bed and 8 bed. Come and relax and get away from it all! We’ll ask guests to strip beds and bag up sheets at the end of their stay and to leave the place clean, before we re-deep clean it for the next group.

We’ll continue to review this in light of governmental advice.
