Kettlewell Hostel consistently  work hard to make it the nicest place to stay in the dales!.   That’s an aspiration to warm your heart isn’t it?  If you look at the reviews they’ve received on social media you’ll find that everyone agrees. Everyone. Its all either 4 or 5 star reviews.

What makes it special? The basics are done right. A large dining room serves a well-considered menu of home cooked food supplemented with local ales. Pictures of this are all over the social which bodes well. The rooms are clean, modern and well appointed, with a range of small private rooms and dormitories. There’s also a bike store, which is useful as some of the best rides in the country roll past the front door. In the lounge there is a wood-burning stove and a lovely selection of toys and children’s activities. The reviews all talk, though, about the hosts friendly welcome and warm hospitality.  There’s also a thriving second hand bookshop on site!

Kettlewell Hostel is a handsome stone house in the beautiful landscape of Wharfdale, within easy reach of landscape highlights like Malham Cove and Great Whernside.  Well worth a visit !
