Kent, an ideal place to spot a collared dove

In fast changing times it’s good to retreat and take some time for the simple pleasures. Early mornings with the birds is certainly a favourite here.

The calm atmosphere and lovely scenery compliment each other spectacularly. Come to Palace Farm Hostel, spend some time with yourself. The Collared dove is a wonderful sight with an interesting past. The bird was not actually native to the UK, coming from as far afield as Turkey and beyond, but in the mid 1950’s the bird was breeding in Norfolk and has been here ever since.
