The Friends of Nature House at Kirk Yetholm is famous for its location on the Pennine Way and Land’s End to John o’ Groats routes.
Kirk Yetholm Hostel is part of the Friends of Nature group. Its a three star hostel and has the Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome tourist board awards, which shows how ideal the accommodation is for outdoor enthusiasts. The hostel has been enjoying ongoing improvements over the last 6 years with smaller bedrooms, upgraded kitchen, green improvements like solar thermal hot water and wood burning stove for heat and now some expertly installed new beds.
We’re not sure whether the Snoopy work party was a success… one spent most of the time sleeping. (see more picture on Borders Friends of Nature facebook).
