Holidaying on a budget?

You’d be surprised how many wonderful things there are to do near Seahouses Hostel which are totally free of charge!

From simply spending time in our garden complete with activities and a play area to walking in pretty countryside, along beautiful beaches and scenic coastal paths too. For something a little more relaxed, then building sandcastles, rock pooling or flying kites is for you. And for those interested in history, the Lifeboat Museum in Seahouses and the Grace Darling Museum in Bamburgh are well worth a visit. Lindisfarne should be high on your list too with the trip across the causeway an adventure in itself and Hulne park in Alnwick provides beautiful Parkland to explore.
For cyclists, there are miles of quiet country lanes with beautiful views and plenty of pubs and tea rooms dotted about for a well-earned break. And if the weather is not looking too good then a trip to Barter Books, a quirky second-hand bookshop in Alnwick is recommended or Chain Bridge Honey Farm near Berwick where you’ll find a visitor’s centre and a delightful double decker bus café – a real treat! Go on – escape the everyday; with so much to see and do, there is truly something for everyone!
