Hiding in a meadow near Bewdley is Haye Farm, holder of a bronze Green Tourism award

Around Haye Farm Sleeping Barn are hay meadows, and hiding amongst the grasses are traditional meadow flowers, providing food for pollinators and a biodiverse habitat for many other creatures.

Harvesting the grass for Winter is timed to perfection. The meadow is cut in prime condition, tedded to dry the grasses and allow seeds from wildflowers and grasses to fall to earth ready to grow again. This year hiding amongst the meadow flowers is this beautiful pink orchid. We at Haye take great care of the soil, the fruits, the animals and the environment to create something natural and beautiful – come and share it with us.
