As its name suggests, West End Outdoor Centre, up there on the moors above Blubberhouses near the Yorkshire Dales National Park, specialises in large groups keen on outdoor pursuits. In their own words on their website “the accommodation is particularly suitable for Family Parties, Walkers, Ramblers, Cyclists, Youth Groups and School Parties. Management Training Courses are also catered for and the remoteness, yet convenience, of the Centre, makes it a perfect choice.” The large dining room, conference room help as well!
There’s a little self-contained unit suitable for small groups or families as well.
It is right on Thruscross reservoir which hosts all manner of water sports for the centre.
