After the long walk along the side of Loch Oich as you journey south from Fort Augustus you’ll find Great Glen Hostel. The perfect place to relax, recharge, reflect and meet with other kindred spirits. The Great Glen is a proper walkers’ hostel and has everything you could ask for.
All bedding is provided
There’s a drying room for wet boots, coats and rucksacks
The hostel has a small in-house shop for any essential items you may need
Breakfast cobs, packed lunches and hearty (locally sourced) home cooked evening meals can be provided. There is a small kitchen if you prefer to self cater.
The hostel is fully heated with plenty of hot water. Perfect for hot showers and a relaxing evening after a long day’s walking.
And last but not least, the sturdy wooden bunks and comfortable mattresses ensure you have a good night’s sleep, ready for the next day’s leg of your journey.
