Ocean Backpackers, in Ilfracombe Harbour, is on the South West Coast Path overlooking Lundy Island. Route 27 of the Devon Coast-to-Coast cycle track passes nearby. There is some great surfing on Woolacombe, Croyde and Putsborough beaches. Ocean Backpackers has undergone a full refurbishment in 2016. The outside has been re-painted, with new windows, and there is a sparking new interior.
