Not at all! The full title “Croft Farm Waterpark” sort of gives us a big clue.
The site, near Tewksbury in Gloucestershire, is built around a substantial lake. Accommodation is in cabins, a pod village, chalets and camping. the main attraction has to be the watersports! Sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, powerboats, canoes – what a range to choose from, all with fully qualified instructors to help the inexperienced. There is live music most weekends and events of all sorts throughout the summer. Its hard to believe so many reviewers say its also a peaceful and relaxing site.
