Float through the air on the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct near Llangollen

Take a barge through the Vale of Llangollen, a World Heritage site built by Thomas Telford in 1800.

The UK’s tallest aqueduct floats 126ft (38m) above the River Dee.  For a small fee you can take an barge trip along the small iron trough the towers over the valley below.   Walk back along the railed walkway, if you have a good head for heights !
