Take a barge through the Vale of Llangollen, a World Heritage site built by Thomas Telford in 1800.
The UK’s tallest aqueduct floats 126ft (38m) above the River Dee. For a small fee you can take an barge trip along the small iron trough the towers over the valley below. Walk back along the railed walkway, if you have a good head for heights !
